All teams must be ready to play by 8:00 am Friday, March 27, 2009. Local teams should be prepared to play Thursday evening.
The Mall of America Radisson is the host hotel for this event. Located near the Mall of America, the Radisson also houses an indoor water park, the Split Rock Grille and has a variety of room accommodations. Reservation details should become available in the fall of 2008.
About Richfield
Richfield, Minnesota is just minutes from the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. The ice arena (636 E. 66th Street), airport and host hotel are all located within 5 miles of each other (click here for a map of tournament locations).
Richfield has been the hometown of broomball for many years. Some of the sport's top players, such as hall of famer Tom Thaden, claim Richfield as their hometown. The broomball itch for many of these players begins with the high school's Fire and Ice tournament held in January.
