Submitted By: Global Broomball Magazine on March 14, 2017 at 2:57:16 PM

Welcome our newest ranking page sponsor Memory Lanes
2520 26th Ave S
Mpls MN

Memory Lane’s – Roll a few frames and try the tater tots. You won’t regret it!

1. Fred’s Tire – Stillwater MN
MSF Class A State Champions, Augsburg League Champions, North American Champions, TC Open Champions, Riverside Classic Runner-Ups

Wooden stakes, garlic, holy water, goalies, forwards, defensemen, coaches, all missing or gone…
Doesn’t matter, you can’t kill them. They laid an egg at World. They will be the first to tell you that. Since then? Fuggedaboutit. Lights out. Undisputed #1 team in the country.

2. Kelly Lake – Apple Valley MN
1st Place Riverside Classic, 2nd place – MSF Class A State, MN Meltdown, North American Championships

Have reached the championship game of every tournament they have played in this year.
The next rendition of Kelly v Fred’s is March 25th in pool play of the International. If you are a broomball fan residing in the Twin City metro area this game is must see!

3. Geez – Albertville MN
Blaine League Champions

It’s International or bust this year for The Geezer’s as they bowed out in the State semis to
Fred’s. Another great pool play matchup Friday night at the International features Geez v The Sundevils, a collection of high priced free agents from three different Canadian Provinces and Minnesota, combing forces in the hopes of stealing the show. Another game you won’t want to miss!

4. Flames – Minneapolis MN

No changes in the top four this rankings period as these four teams have clearly demonstrated they are the best in the land. The Flames are an intriguing sleeper squad given the format of The International. They have given Fred’s fits all year, and could easily knock Kelly or Fred’s into the consolation round with a pool play victory over either.

5. Nordic Stars – Minneapolis MN
Again, no change, as the green and gold hold the 5 spot. Looking at a locked final 4 spot at MSF State until one of the more epic collapses in State Tournament history befell them v Flames.

6. Legion BC – Various outposts
America’s conglomerate moves up by virtue of a strong Can/Am showing in Syracuse NY. Success in this year’s National Championships in Pittsburgh will vault them to even further heights. Anything can happen on the road, but at this point they look to be the only team in the Nats field with a realistic shot at derailing the Fred’s Tire Express.

7. Rochester United – Rochester MN
MSF Class B State Champions

The Sticky- Waffle merger is a success, as Southern Minnesota defeats the Northerner’s from Fargo in a double OT State Tourney thriller!

8. Sticks & Stones – Bloomington MN
Perhaps the most improved team in the USA this year. The Stoners had an excellent season competing in the Augsburg League, advancing all the way to the league title tilt. They were a
factor in the Mpls City playoffs as well, reaching the championship game at Parade Ice Arena.

9. Beaver Machine – Duluth/ Moose Lake MN
The Beaver Mechanics hope to put in some quality work at the International. That Seitz kid is a star. Top 5 forward in the country, no debate about it.

10. Fargo Warriors – Fargo ND

In a non- requested drop to B the Fargo Flashes nearly Class A qualified themselves again, losing in the Championship to RU. The Warrior feeder program needs to kick it back in to high gear, as the main squad has been showing up short-handed tourney after tourney this year,

11. Furious – Minneapolis MN
12. Watkins Legion – Watkins MN
13. Warriors – Minneapolis MN
14. MN Bombers – Blaine MN
15. Muskrats – Blaine MN
16. Met-X - Inver Grove Heights MN
17. Tonka Lift – Mound MN
18. Legislators – District of Columbia
19. Wolves – Blaine MN
20. Outlaws – Syracuse NY
21. Bombers – Dayton OH
22. Wranglers – Bloomington MN
23. Invaders – Columbus IN
24. Champion Awards – Richfield MN
25. Brooms Of Steel – Pittsburgh PA
