2020 USA Broomball Hall of Fame Recipients

USA Broomball is proud to announce the Class of 2020!

The following individuals will be inducted in an on ice ceremony Saturday December 28, in conjunction with the North American Championships at Augsburg Arena in Minneapolis MN.

Christine Clifford – Bloomington MN
Flames Women and Co-Rec, Team Minnesota, Minnesota Selects. Two time IFBA World Champion, multi- time MSF State and USA Broomball National Champion. Multi-time Saskatoon and Syracuse Can-Am Champion

Beth Vanderhoff – Baltimore MD
Broomstormers, Van Buren Boys.
USA Broomball National Champion
Founding member and long-time administrator of the Baltimore Broomball Club. One of the core individuals leading the growth and expansion of broomball along the East Coast throughout the 2000’s.

Beth will be inducted at the 2020 USA Broomball National Championships.

Jon Bauer – Rogers MN
Blazers, 152 Club, Tony Jaro’s/CH Anderson, USA Blue/Blues.
Multi-time MSF State Champion and USA Broomball National Champion. Multi-time North American Champion. Multi-time Saskatoon Gold Broom Champion. International Champion. Syracuse Can/Am Champion

Jacob Broten – Minneapolis MN
USA Red, Inferno, Geez, Kelly Lake
IFBA World Champion. Multi-time IFBA All Tournament -Team Selection. Multi-time MSF State and USA Broomball National Champion. Saskatoon Gold Broom and Syracuse Can/Am Champion. North American Champion. International Champion.

Jacob is the only player known to USA Broomball to have competed in both the CBF National Championships
(while living in Quebec) and the USA Broomball National Championships

Quinn Schmitt – Woodbury MN
QA, USA Red, Blues, Barrie’s Tavern
IFBA World Champion, Multi-time MSF State and USA Broomball National Champion. Multi- time North American Champion. Multi-time Syracuse Can/Am Champion. International Champion. Saskatoon Gold Broom Champion.

Mike Hamilton – Hopkins MN
The senior official in the USA, Mike has spent 42 years officiating broomball. He has officiated at one time or another in every major championship offered in the United States. Mike has travelled to the east coast, west coast, and all points in between to work countless broomball events. Without question the all-time leader in broomball games officiated, Mike has served as the Referee in Chief of the Augsburg League for 30 years.
