2003 - History is made as USA Red captures the Challenge Cup, symbolic of the sports world championship in November 02, (The Mag is calling it the 03 season) before the largest crowd ever to watch a broomball game. Red would defeat their bitter rival Blue in the semi-finals of the event and then take out the Montreal Titans in overtime on a legendary goal by Jeff Lacosse,
The victory will go down as the single biggest win in the history of the American game!

USA Blue picked themselves up off the mat after the crushing defeat from Red in the Challenge Cup and turned in the most impressive season recorded in Canada or the USA.

In succession they would defeat the 02 Canadian National Champion Ottawa Nationals in the finals of the Syracuse Can/AM, the soon to be 03 CBF National Champion Bruno Axmen in the finals of the Saskatoon Gold Broom and QA in the finals of the North American Championship.

They would culminate the dream season with a 3 games to 1 Super Series victory over USA Red for the USA Broomball National Championship, and watch their split squad finish 1st and 2nd in the MSF Elite State Tournament under the old Hansen and Jaros names,

USA Blue would win their 3rd straight Saskatoon Gold Broom, defeating the Bruno Axmen in overtime, in what many Canadian observers called the best game they had ever seen.

The core of USA Blue comes back and merges with some key Vannelis players to form the Blues. They pick up right where they left off, facing off against long-time rival QA in the newly named MSF Class A State Championship.
