There is only room for eight mens and four co-rec teams. Due to the extremely high cost of putting on this event all entrants must be paid in full by 6/1/08. Barries Tavern, The Polars and The Blues (in their farewell apperance) are 100% committed to the event. Co-rec teams interested should contact Dave as soon as possible so we can gauge interest.
A limited number of rooms will once again be available at Terribles Hotel and Casino for an incredibly low tournament rate of $49 9/11 and $79 9/12-9/13 (Standard Rooms) or $69 9/11 and $99 9/12-9/13 (Tower Rooms). Book early as we have less than 50 total rooms for the event. Everyone was very pleased with this hotel last year.

This tournament is intended for B-D recreational co-rec teams. Roster limitations: no men's class A or co-rec class A players/teams from Minnesota. Download the tournament schedule here.
USA Broomball co-rec rules apply and USA Broomball certified officials will be used.
The ice arena, host hotel and Mall of America are all within 5 miles of the Minneapolis / St Paul International Airport. You can't ask for a more convenient location! The Radisson by Mall of America is the host hotel and they've given us great rates for this tournament. They also have an indoor water park. Download the registration flyer for all hotel information.

Offering Men's Classes A through D, co-rec and collegiate men's divisions. All teams must be ready to play by 8 am on Friday, March 26th. The tournament is expected to fill early, as it has in years past, so be sure to register early to avoid exclusion!

2009 Pacific Rim International Broomball Tournament

Men's and Women's
Rules: Men's division games will be played checking. Ladies division games will be played non-checking. IFBA rulebook and referees will be used (centre red line offside, 5' x 7' cages). Protective netting around the ice surface will be played as inbounds, resulting in faster-paced games with fewer stoppages.
Games Guarantee: TBC - depending on number of teams to enter, probably looking at 8-10 games per team.
Entry Fee: To be announced, will be similar to 2007: AU$1100 per mens team (US$880); AU$900 per ladies team (US$720)
Hotels: Looking at approximately AU$33-$60 per night per person with options for family, quad, triple, double and twin share rooms. See hotel link on website for tournament hotel information.

Broomball Australia is teaming up with Sydney tourism agencies to offer a wide variety of extra activities. Sydney has plenty to offer tourists and as anybody who went to the World Championships knows, the Aussies know how to party!!
